Lesson One:

A crow was sitting on a tree, doing nothing all day. A small
rabbit saw the crow and asked, "Can I also sit like you and
do nothing all day?"

The crow answered, "Sure, why not." So, the rabbit sat
on the ground below the crow, and rested. All of a sudden, a fox
appeared, jumped on the rabbit and ate it.

There’s so much written about teenagers that you really wonder what to think and may even ask yourself, “Am I dealing with people from another planet?” Teens who say “Leave me alone” or “It’s my life, don’t you get it?” are just being teenagers. Their emotional rollercoaster rides can be baffling and worrying for unprepared parents. Understanding their emotional outbursts is important to communicate with them effectively.

What’s Cooking?

It’s funny, you know. The first chefs in history were men. Cooking was one of those privileged forms of knowledge that only men had access to. Then, there was a period when cooking, as a domestic task, was considered a woman’s duty. Dining tables have turned! Men are entering the kitchen. Is history repeating itself?

“Nah, not my type,” Jack whispered to me. This was at a party we attended last weekend, where a common friend introduced us to a pretty girl. Considering that he always emphasizes on the need to “think out of the box,” his boxed idea of making friends was rather surprising.

Men on the Pitch never get Old

IPL made all of us go crazy. However, for some, this craze was not about the fantastic cricket we got to watch. Both the seasons proved a point – men on the pitch never get old. From Gilchrist (37), who led his team from the bottom of the table to championship, to Anil Kumble (38), who took over from the young and brash Pietersen and redefined youth, IPL was all about the older men.

Wassup?... Just Time Pass

So, you have spent five days of the week working really hard. Are you set for a weekend of laziness? Think again. Many people choose to spend two days lying on the bed to get away from the week-long exhaustion. Believe me – that’s not a very good idea, especially when you have 48 hours and there’s so much to do (work not being one of them). Find a mate. Go out. Live your weekend.
